St. Joseph at work with the Christ Child
Prayer of St. Joseph Prayer of all Christians O loving God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: come to my assistance, Lord come quickly to my aid. I am just a simple person, subject to fear and doubt, overwhelmed by my respon-sibilities and tired by my laboring. Lord, place your courage in my heart, your peace in my mind, your fidelity in my soul and your strength in the work of my hands. Sustain me my God. May my entire life be a joyful and sincere prayer before you, pleasing in your sight. May I honor you by day in every thought, effort, emotion, glance and movement of my heart. May you be my rest and confidence as I remember your graciousness throughout the night. May all that I am and all that I do be a faithful act of love towards this precious Jesus that I carry in my heart. May I offer my all to him, and by doing so may I honor with purest affection his blessed mother Mary. Glorious God, make my love generous and my heart humble.
